SELEUKID KINGS. Antiochos I Soter, 281-261 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 29 mm, 16.73 g, 10 h), a contemporary imitation of an issue from Seleukeia on the Tigris. Diademed head of Antiochos III. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ - ΑΝΤΙΟΧΟΥ Apollo seated left on omphalos, holding arrow in his right hand and resting his left on grounded bow; to outer left and right, monograms. Cf. SC 379.3 (for prototype) and 395-6 (for imitations). Cf. Gorny & Mosch 152 (2006), 1460 (same obverse die, but differing reverse type). Somewhat porous and with light marks, otherwise, very fine.
